About the Forum

The Age-Friendly Business Forum was established by the Louth Economic Forum.

It is chaired by Gavin Duffy Louth based Entrepreneur, Media Coach, RTE’s Dragon’s Den Presenter and Public Speaker.

The Forum has 10 members, drawn from Louth’s Chambers of Commerce, Rotary, Netwell and CASALA Centre’s, Louth’s Older People’s Forum and Local Authority Management.

Ardee Town

Irelands 1st Age-Friendly Business Town is Ardee town in County Louth. Ardee was chosen by the Louth Age-Friendly Business Forum as the pilot site for the development of Age-Friendly Business Recognition Programme.

30 local businesses signed up to the age-friendly business charter and actively worked with the Age-Friendly Business Forum to develop a structured programme that recognises and addresses the market opportunity.
